Rosebank Pet Portraits produces high quality and professionally painted pet portraits in a variety of mediums for clients.

Helen Shepherd is the artist behind Rosebank Pet Portraits. Helen has over 15 years experience in painting. She specialises in pet portraits, animals and people portraits.

Helen works in a variety of mediums including acrylics, watercolours and also graphite pencil. Helen has recently started working in pastels. STANDARD PORTRAITS

For a head and shoulder portrait painting of your pet in acrylic our prices start from just £75 on a 12″ x 10″ canvas. Acrylic portraits are now also available on wood panels, please enquire for further details.

For an A4 watercolour or pastel head portrait prices start from just £60, for a graphite pencil sketch prices start from just £45. All watercolour, pastel and graphite pencil portraits are supplied mounted ready for framing.

Helen works from your photographs (digital or traditional), which can either be emailed or posted to her. Please ensure the photos are as clear as possible. We are happy to check whether the photos are suitable for the project first, if required.

If the photo provided has not been taken by yourself the copyright of the photo will be held by the photographer/owner. Permission will need to be granted by them first that it may be used.

No deposit is required.

Portraits usually take around two weeks to complete.

If you would like to give a pet portrait as a gift but are unable to obtain suitable photographs of the subject then why not consider purchasing a gift certificate.

MINI PORTRAITS

Helen is also able to offer mini pet portraits on A5 paper and also 8″ x 8″ canvas. These are suitable for head and shoulder portraits of dogs and cats. For smaller animals such as guinea pigs, budgies, hamsters, etc. a full portrait would be best suited.

We are now also able to offer a framing service for your pet portrait.

Our local framer offers a bespoke framing service with a wide choice of mouldings available to suit all.
